How can you manipulate the space with a seating object?

The chosen space to manipulate is a courtyard at AKV St. Joost. This space is not used, but could function ideally as a seat and small food supply. The theme of urban gardening is clearly reflected in the idea and mood board. As a design, Chermaine Vermeulen and I made a simple visualization together, due to the short time frame

Bins are placed in 3 different heights. In
all kinds of plants and herbs can be planted in these containers as part of their own food supply. Special seats and tops are also made so that you can place them on the bins.
You can then sit on it or use it as a table or bar.

These are photos of the location where the design could possibly be placed: a courtyard that currently has no function.

Because there was very little time to develop this small project, the simple material cardboard was chosen. This works well with visualizing the design.

To pitch the design idea for the group, we made a small mood board about the atmosphere that the courtyard would radiate. Then we continued the design in scale sizes so that a model could be made.
